Once you’ve been diagnosed and the treatments become available, if you’ve got the opportunity to have a physician, a consultant who’s going to give you the best advice for you, it’s great that you follow that.
It’s important that you become the expert of the disease so that you can confidently go in with those interactions and get the best out of them.
Sometimes people don’t always plan the questions or what they’re going to do when they see a physician. You only have them for 20 minutes sometimes. And that’s such an important one year or six months opportunity to make sure you get the right treatment.
And also you need to help the physician. If you’ve had symptoms, then you need to share that with them and make sure you give them the opportunity to determine which treatment is best for you.
